So, August 29th is right around the corner. With it, prayerfully, comes a movement bent on changing the people of God and transforming this community. (more on that to come)
I have one question though…
If you could meet one need in your community, what would it be?
Buy Revelations and open it as a youth center. I could create jobs and a place for teens to hang out! Is this what you mean or did I just fail!?
I am the neighborhood mom in my area! Needless to say there are several kids who come to my house, to eat, hang out and just look for fun. Most of them have parents who work and they are home alone most of the summer and sometimes during the school year. Kids need a safe place to hangout and have fun, especially teens. I would have to agree with Kristi!! If my husband and I had the money we would open something for the Teens to do in the community, something posetive, something fun!
Man! You guys are on the same page as me! But, sadly, the money is the problem. Last I heard, they want $750,000 for that property. We’ve prayed and prayed for some way, but God has not opened that door, yet.
We are on the verge of something special at Crossroads. We need to pray that we will do things the right way and in a timely way that will allow God to use our current situation for His Glory.
